Practical cases (benchmarks)

This rubric proposes to illustrate the functioning of BLIASoft Knowledge Discovery by the study of some practical cases of datasets.

Concrete Compressive Strength Data Set. The objective of this regression problem is the modelling of the compression behaviour of concrete.

Analysis of an industrial process. A regression problem where the objective is to analyse data from production in order to determine the influential parameters.

Fisher's Iris Data Set. This famous problem of classification consists in separating a sample of 150 irises following 3 species.

Wine recognition data Set. A problem of wine classification based on the chemical composition.

Some of these data sets come from the UCI Machine Learning Repository (http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/index.html), Irvine, CA, University of California, School of Information and Computer Science.
